Course Suggestions

This website is no longer active. Please visit http://help.p2pu.org instead.

What courses would you like to see at P2PU? Please provide at least a brief description with your suggestion; it’s more likely your ideas will be voted up that way. If you’re also willing to teach the course, awesome! Let us know in your suggestion, or even create it yourself on p2pu.org (it’s easy!). However, that’s not necessary to suggest a course, so keep the great ideas coming.

What course do you want to see at P2PU?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  3. Courses in Chinese

There are huge amounts of open resources in Chinese - whether the Chinese Top Level Courses, Taiwanese Open CourseWare, stuff translated through MyOOPS or CORE, or all the other stuff existing. Would be great if people began putting together courses on any topic using Chinese open resources, with the discussion happening in Chinese.

  8. omnet++

An step by step course for those interested in networking.
There is much documentation on the Internet, but all begin at a high level of knowledge; what is needed is a "OMNeT for Dummies" course.

  12. Domestic Arts and Life Sciences

This course would be a combination of crafty undertakings and survival skills we haven’t yet found the time to master.

Each week features a theme and corresponding suite of talents. We’d “Get Handier” by rewiring a lamp. We’d sew a button, tie a tie, and patch ripped pants during “Bachelorhood.” For “Betty Crocker Revival” we’d make placemats and pie crust. Other ideas: tying knots, molding candles and changing a bike tire.

Videos from Instructables and articles from Lifehacker will help us, and we would upload pics/videos of our works in progress to help each other get ‘er done.

    What other…

  16. Collaborative Lesson Planning

This course has educators share their lessons online and find collaboraters who will help them make their lessons better. This helps the educator and the entire Open Educational Resources community online by putting more materials out there, then showing how to not only use them, but improve upon them. This will be the third time the course is run in P2PU, we believe it'll be much better the third time around.
