integrate forum and email
so that you can reply seamlessly from the web or email and it's all happy and easy and intuitive like facebook.

I think this could make a big difference for helping me stay involved in the course and seeing what's going on. If I can participate largely from my email inbox, then I will participate more. I just realized that I can use FeedMyInbox.com to patch together the sending mechanism, and I don't know any way to hack together a "respond to forum via email" function. CoActivate.org listserves/forums do this nicely.
